Brugge, Belgium where to stay, etc.

Hi
We have 2 days in Brugge, Belgium in September. Would appreciate any info about where to stay, etc. Is it worth going to Ghent as well or spend the 2 days in Brugge? Thanks in advance.

What's your budget? Your taste--full service hotel, intimate B&B, cozy, classic, modern?

Hi Ozzies,

Just to start you off, we have booked this B&B for early May so no first hand knowledge but the owners have been quick to reply and very helpful.

Thanks for such fast replies. We've had a look at the B & B site; looks really nice. We were thinking of maybe B & B or a small, boutique hotel close to the old town. Any suggestions please?

Number 11 is one of Brugge's most attractive B&Bs with excellent, helpful hosts.

Number 11 is where I've stayed twice. It was absolutely perfect -- great location, beautiful rooms, good breakfasts and Annie is the nicest host imaginable. They seem to get good reviews on tripadvisor, so it's probably best to book as far in advance as possible.
