Bruges B&Bs

We're not usually B&B people, but someone mentioned the Cote Canal on the other Bruges thread this morning, so I looked at it, and it looks just wonderful. Alas, it is fully booked for the nights we will be there.

Is there anything else as nice? For hotels, we're looking at the Prinsenhof, Pand and Casselburgh.

Sorry you can't get in. They only have four rooms and tend to book in mid-fall for the following spring. Good luck! Bon chance! Veel geluk!

Hey, we stayed in Bonifacius, a very nice B&B that is also situated along the canal. It has only 3 bedrooms but maybe they have a room for the dates you want to visit Bruges? You can check it on their site: http://www.bonifacius.be/

Too bad about Cote Canal, I've stayed there twice (2008 and 2010) and would go back in a heart beat!

Have you checked through Booking.com ? I will often go there, plug my dates in and sort by review score. There are a lot in Bruges that are over 9/10.

We stayed at No. 11. It was great. good location. quiet. short walk to the centre. I'd stay there again.

P.S. our room was wonderful

leuk2, we chose No. 11 - thanks for the recommendation. We got the only room left for our dates, the "grey-white room" - nice room, small bathroom (I don't care as long as the shower works!).

I think we had the grey-white room. Up stairs(steep). the room was large. I don't recall the bathroom being small. Great location though. Go out the front door, turn left, go across the bridge, turn right , walk about 50 feet, and as you look across the canal you will see the Brugge dog-lying on a ? , head hanging out the window. probably the most photographed dog in the world.

We're looking forward to it!
