Bru na Boinne

Are there organized tours to Bru na Boinne?

While I self-toured Newgrange, I know that Mary Gibbons does an organized tour from Dublin which gets excellent reviews on Trip Advisor.

Thank you

Unless you ARE on an organized bus tour, you will have loooong wait to get to see Newgrange.

RuaMor, we were there in August, and didn't have to wait long at all--not even enough time to properly see the museum in the visitor centre.

We will be there probably may 31st. Do you think lines will be long then?

It's a bit of a crapshoot.

Your best chance is early in the day, just at opening time. but nothing is certain. The second large tumulus on the site, Knowth, is also very interesting, so if the queues for Newgrange are too long, you have a good alternative.

We ate lunch there and it was time to get on the bus in early May. Well worth whatever wait time though.
