British Open Golf 2020

Planning a week ( 14th - 21st July 2020) for the British Open Golf @ Royal St.George's . Looking for B&B at Kent, Sandwich , Canterbury...or anywhere close by.
probably close to where the action is ( 16th- 19th July). Most places are either booked up or blocked so online booking not been possible.
Help appreciated. Thanks

Yep -- most likely. You are like a year late. Many tour package companies book up blocks of accommodations FAR in advance. So I'd probably either look for a package that isn't tooooo expensive or plan on commuting in from London.

Yep. I know I'm late to the party.. Hum-hawing all the while as i had other commitments. There are some on-site glamping available ( Bell Tents ) , but the thought of a damp, morose & saturnine "English weather" ( like a few years ago) would not be ideally cutout after a long day at St. Georges.
Any B&B at Deal or Ramsgate ,Kent would be ideal. There are pubs with B&B on the waterfront which look inviting, most have few rooms and are taken, while some are non-committal for those dates. Also considering cutting it short to only 2 days at the open (18th &19th July).

Got it . No sweat :) 10 miles from St. George's. I've fixed the basics. Comfy bed in an esuite room, a pantry.
Now the tough part. Looking for 'Day Passes' for 17-19th July for the Open. Genuine leads required please. Speculation is pass. All help at ground zero appreciated . Gracie
