British Airways seating
 

In the past when booking with British Airways one was able to bring up a seating plan and choose the seats when reserving...I am not able to bring up any seat maps...is British Airways still allowing one to pick their seats at reservation time?

No. But you can choose your seat on line 24 hours before departure.

I think if you join their Super Duper Platinum Diamond Molybdenum Club you can choose beforehand. But the regular Executive Club gets you nothing. You get 24 hours. Go to the website and click on "online check in". Every time I've tried, all the good seats are gone by about 23:45 before.

That is what I am scared of...wonder why they changed their policy..I always chose them for allowing me to pick my seats..now I am willing to look at other airlines.

Why? Because they only want to care about the high-revenue frequent flyer. Not casual traveler like you.
