Nanray, if you want to be sure of getting an aisle seat, you can pre-book your seat with BA on their website (I just did this recently for an overnight flight from Johannesburg to London).

Go to www.britishairways.com, then click on "Manage my booking" in the left hand menu and then "retrieve my booking". You need to enter your surname and the booking reference - click on "what is this" to find out where the booking reference is printed on your ticket.

You can then choose seats, special meals, etc. for your flight.

See my "Trip Report - Globus Legendary Danube Cruise" - last response was May 30. I have some info there on our adventures with BA. We did get aisle seats, so the flights were only 99% miserable, not 100% miserable. Other than that, a great vacation. Thanks to all for your input.
