British airways holiday?

Has anyone travelled on their packages to London and Dublin? Would you recommend it?
Thanks.

I haven't done their full packages but they sometimes offer a pick and choose package. I have picked up great hotel rates in London, and outlying areas of the cotswold and their car rental packs usually have good price, got a mercedes for $1.00 more a day. Haven't used it lately but it was called something like "do it your way" or something similar

I used them for hotel and air last year for our group of 6. First, know that they have this awesome premium seating area that is separated between coach and business class. You may as well call it business class because I couldn't believe how luxurious and room it was. Seats swing way back for sleeping and the amenities were really a surprise. It was not crowded. I don't know why more airlines aren't picking up on it. I know Virgin has it but their prices were to the moon.

But forget about their hotel packages. Our hotel was so bad that I had to call British Airways from my room and ask them to help me get into the Savoy across the street. The room was small, the windows dirty, and you could just tell that someone at BA had not done their homework. BA was really nice about it and I was given a full credit except for the one night in advance I had reserved so we could check right in.
I took their fly/hotel package for London/Rome a couple of years ago. It was reasonable and everything worked out great. The London hotel was the Forum in Kensington, which I had stayed at several times before, has a pub I like and is in a great location. They flew us to Rome, pick up at the airport was on time and in a Mercedes (with a gorgeous, fun driver who shared his love of Rome as he drove). The hotel in Rome was the Oxford, which was small but very nice. The biggest surprise was that when we arrived at our Rome hotel there was a rep from BA waiting for us. She sat us down in the lobby, welcomed us to Rome and gave us passes for a private tour of Rome the next day. There were no hidden charges and we hadn't seen anything at all about the Rome tour in the brochure or information packets.

Their air/hotel packages are fairly reasonable. However, the least expensive packages do not offer comfortable hotels-budget type only.
