We are leaving from Vancouver Canada for Heathrow on Jan 15th (on miles) returning on July 6th to Salt Lake. What does anyone know or guess. We also have a connecting flight to CDG on the 18th - I would guess this would be the problem link. Would BA compensate if this flight was cancelled w/ Eurostar money/credit? What do they offer if anything? Thanks FA ,Seattle

It's not a "connecting" flight if it's three days later. It's a point-to-point flight on Jan. 18th. Is this flight part of your BA award itinerary?

There are European Economic Community regulations regarding compensating passengers that you should google so that you know your rights.

Thanks for your correction. It is an award flight (Heathrow/Paris). What do you know now that we have clarified my flight.

You mean June 15, right, and are concerned about the strike?

I know a few things - and can guess countless more. One thing I have learnt now is that you are flying to LHR on 15 Jan and that you fly to Salt Lake on 6 July. In between you have a connecting flight to Paris on 18 - presumably Jan (which, if this is a connecting flight, makes for a long lay-over of 2 days at the airport. I guess the layover time is enough to exit the airport and make it back in time).

I also know that the abbreviation "British Air" is very uncommon. It's a short "BA" - or its full name of "British Airways". And I guess this a) wasn't known to you, b) isn't your primary concern, c) would have been pointed out by others pretty soon.

I guess you can have a pretty good time in Europe as I know the length of your stay exceeds the average.

I also guess you knew what you were doing when you booked your return flight to Salt Lake, which I know is quite a distance from Seattle, from where I guess you are going to start your trip despite flying out of Vancouver.

I know that I am getting bored now, though, so have a good trip.

I don't think your flight has been clarified at all.
You're heading to the UK from Canada in January?? And returning to the US in July?

Or have you made a typo in your dates?

I assume the strange assortment of arrival and departure cities is due to these being booked on points.
