Bristol-music venues

Hello again,
So we're a couple in our late thirties. We are planning three nights in Bristol. We're looking for small venues that play live Jazz and indie bands.
Just so you have a further idea of our taste, we did not like Ronnie Scott's (I know, the horror!).

So far, my research on TA led me to the Old Duke.

Thanks a lot in advance

I live in Bristol but am no expert on the music scene, which is said to be exceptional. I suggest you look up the following.

The Old Duke. A pub specialising in Jazz near the harbour and on one of Bristol's oldest streets.

Future Inn. A modern hotel which has jazz evenings.

You might want to stay there

VisitBristol. The official tourism website. http://visitbristol.co.uk/whats-on
Lists jazz and other music at various venues

We're going to a Procol Harum concert at Colston Hall on May 16. Seems like the kind of place that might have jazz as well.
