Breakfast on Nevsky Prospekt in St. Petersburg
 

Any suggestions for a breakfast place on Nevsky Prospekt? We are staying at the Taleon Imperial and really do not want the hotel over-priced breakfast buffet. Looking for a local place that opens earlier than 9:00 AM as we like to start our touring early. Thanks!

There's a stolovaya on Nevsky, not too far from your hotel. It's cafeteria style, cheap, and open 24 hours. It's on the same side as your hotel but a few doors before the Stockmann store as you're walking up Nevsky. The entrance is street level, but you walk down a flight of stairs into the dining area. Just look for the words "столовая" out front.
