Breakfast near London's Montague on the Gardens

Could someone who has stayed in the Montague advise me on the availability of restaurants nearby where we could get breakfast? I expect we will eat at the hotel several mornings, but: a) we'd like variety; and b) we'd like to cut costs where possible.

Since there are a considerable number of vitamins, medicines, miscellaneous pills to be taken (we are something of a travelling geriatric unit...) close proximity to the hotel is important, so we can eat, return to room to take our meds, and visit London...

Thanks!

TTT, So this question will not fade completely into oblivion.

This hotel is adjacent to the British Museum, if that will broaden the scope of folk knowledgable about the area...

Is the British Museum free.... does it have a cafe? We had breakfast at the National Gallery (free admission). It was near our hotel and its 19 pound per person continental breakfast. -:)

I have stayed several times at the hotel next to Montague on the Gardens, Bloom's, and their breakfasts were so superb that I never would think of going anywhere else! So I can't help you with your question. However, if you want to have a wonderful fish dinner in the area, go to the North Sea Fish Restaurant on Leigh Street. It's a really great (and reasonable) little place a few blocks from the Russell Square tube station. Lots of locals eat there, and their fish is the freshest in town!

Sorry I can't remember the names, but there are several small breakfast cafe's within a couple of blocks of Montague. I found their breakfast to be far too expensive. Walk towards British Museum and you will find something.
