breakfast near Hotel britannique
 

I am travelling with a group of 9 people. I am wondering if we should just plan on breakfasting in the hotel, at 14 Euros/person, or trying to find a nearby cafe. I am guessing the cafe would be cheaper, but it might be easier if everyone could eat when they were ready. I'd love some opinions on the pros and cons and if anyone has recommendations for good places to breakfast near this hotel. Thank you!

If you don't get a response, then everyone could try breakfast the first morning...by then, you'll have located several alternatives...

The hotel is near rue de Rivoli, a bustling area with shops and I do recall seeing cafes too.

Breakfast at the Brittaique is well worth the price, IMO. We tried a cafe around the corner on our first morning and had a nice coffee and croissant, but nothing like the variety (and quantity) we had at the hotel on subsequent days.

The Brittanique has a buffet in a pretty room off the lobby, with everything you could imagine for breakfast at a fixed price. It was our biggest meal of the day.
