Please make recommendations for breakfast in Seville ? We are staying at the hotel Seville Center on Avenida de la Buhaira 24 Nervion. In Barcelona we will be staying at the Cram on Aribau, 54, Example.

We would walk out of the hotel in any city in Spain, find a little café/bar, order café solo and Torta Espanola.

In Sevilla, you can check out El Rincón de la Esperanza, Calle Martínez de Medina, 1 (www.facebook.com/elrincondela.esperanza.3). It's about a 10 minute walk from where you are staying. I few minutes closer is La Monumental, Calle Diego Angulo Íñiguez, 9, which opens at 08:00. Charlotte Café is even closer at Av de la Buhaira, 10.

There are dozens of places within a few minutes walk of the Cram. You can even head down to the Bouquería Market and have breakfast at bar Pinocchio or El Quim or Kiosco Universal. The market opens early.

You might want to download a couple of Maribel's Guides; Sevilla and Barcelona, to get a few more ideas on where to have breakfast, lunch and dinner (www.maribelsguides.com)

In Barcelona, you'll find excellent and local atmosphere l'Aribau in Arribau, 3, three blocks away and next door to the university. Opens at 7am weekdays, 8am on Saturday and closed on Sunday.

Here businesspeople, academics and all kind of locals also drop in for a three course lunch for 8,60€ (before 14, 9,60€ after 14h). Lots of local specialities. Wonderful local sausage Botifarra with slightly garlicy white beans here last Friday. http://barcelona.salir.com/laribau

If all you want is coffee and a roll of some sort, almost anywhere will do.

If you want Real Breakfast, any large hotel with business travelers, especially Germans, will delight you.

IMO breakfast at a local atmosphere café/bar with lots of regulars is the perfect way to start every day anywhere in Spain, so I really support OP taking the issue finding breakfast places seriously.
