Breakfast In London

Many hotels include breakfast. Is it expensive to buy breakfasat if your hotel does not offer it with the room? Thanks.

I am looking for any accomodations for two adults and three kids (5,3,2 years old) for less than $150 per night in a location close to the tube station and touristy stuff.

Most hotel breakfasts, even the rare ones, are overpriced when not included in the room rate because you are being charged for the convenience.
If your hotel offers one, they can tell you what their charge is for breakfast.

Depending on what area you are staying in, there may be alternative cafes nearby that open early for breakfast.
And Starbucks are everywhere in London.

If you haven't searched londontown.com already, you should. It's a good source of information for budget-minded hotels.

There are also plenty of Pret a Manager's around London that we ate in for breakfast on our last visit. We thought they were nice, affordable and quick.
