Brass Rubbing in Canterbury

We are headed to Kent and later, London, this summer. We have a few extra hours in Canterbury and our 9 and 10 year old kids want to try their hand at brass rubbing. Do you know if there is a brass rubbing opportunity in Canterbury or in another Kent location? Thank you!

Don't know about Kent, but once you get to London you can try brass rubbing in the crypt of St Martin's in the Fields.

I'm not sure about Canterbury (most brass rubbing centres have closed over the years) but yes, you can definitely do it in London.

If you got a few hours to spare in Canterbury your family may enjoy taking on the Great Stour River by Westgate in town center. I took them years ago and were great and could hardly changed much:

BTW Canterbury's tourist office claims the great cathedral is the most visited site in England! They must mean outside of London but their website does not say that.

Thank you for the suggestions! Looks like we won't be doing any rubbings until London . . .
