Boutique/Moderately priced hotels in Prague

My wife and I will be joining a tour in Prague at the Marriott. We are going to arrive a couple of days earlier and are looking for a boutigue and/or moderately priced hotel that is close to the Marriott. Any recommendations for us?

I don't know where the Marriott is, but I like the Hotel Maximilian and the Hotel Josef in Prague, both well located in the Old Town but far enough away from the main square to be quiet and restful.

Thanks for the recommendation. I have read about the Maximilian. It is a possibility. The Marriott is almost due south of it, V. Celnini 8. I'm not sure of the distance, because the maps I have been able to locate on the web don't have scales. We were hoping for something closer making it possible to move dragging one roll-on piece each. I'll try to locate a better map to pin it down better.

Pension Dientzenhofer near Charles Bridge

should be about 10 min walk to the Mariott or 3 - 5 min cab ride.

It looks like the Marriott is pretty close to both the Maximilian and the Josef, but not walkable. A short and cheap cab ride, well worth it imho. The Maximilian could probably arrange a driver for a reasonable charge.
