Bought tickets! Now need help with Rome..

Hi! So I just bought our tickets on Eurofly and we have the following nights in Rome that I need to find accomodation for. Not sure where to start...

1) Arrival day: We will be arriving in Rome on Friday 12 PM. Our rental in Siena is from Sat 3PM. We are hoping to spend the first night in Rome and then take the bus to Siena the following day.. Where should we look? This is for 5 persons.
2) Dep day: Our parents and we(3 of us)are flying out on consecutive Sundays 2:50 PM from Rome and will be busing down from Siena on Sat. Where should we look for the last night (a)2 persons , (b)3 persons.

We'd like to get a taste of Rome....

Thanks in advance,
Sudhin

I don't know about hotel, but I'd definitely take the train instead of the bus from Rome to Siena. I took the bus from Florence to Siena last year and it was a pain. Granted, the bus leaves right outside the city walls, but the train is faster and more confortable.

Congrats on getting those tickets. Can you let us know when you return how you found Eurofly? I have thought about booking tickets with them and would love a first hand report.
Hotels in Rome - Hotel Portoghesi and Hotel Due Torri are the two that I know. I can recommend both!

Hi! I am actually getting somewhere and will post back later today or tomorrow with my final choices(for your advice). In the meantime I am looking for an apt for my bro & sis for their week in Rome. I have emailed several places but want to know what is a good price I should expect to pay for a 1 bedroom in May? In the center Vs Travestere? Also where should 2 people in their 20s base themselves for a week?

Thanks,
Sudhin
