So many of us who live here love this place, unfortunately they are closing in October and will be taken over by other with a new concept and renovations.

My husband and I went for one last time in early September. I'll miss Hammersley's, its been a favorite for years. And yet I had never had the famous roast chicken...until this time. I just had to have it. Still terrific.

Very sad this Boston institution is closing. We often see Gordon on Sunday nights at our favorite local sushi restaurant.

I'd be up for a Hamersley's GTG.

Looks like they are booked till the end of their run. Too bad.
