Need recommendations 2 night stay in Rome
Celebrating my 40th with my husband this fall and will be ending our wonderful trip with a 2 night stay in Rome. Any recommendations on hotels/b&bs? Thinking Navona or Campo Fiori area? But open to suggestions. Would prefer $200 or less a night.
*not deal breakers but balcony or a place with a roof terrace and view is a plus.... Or a place that is near a coffee shop would be wonderful.

When in the fall? If October, I would reserve something you could cancel and keep looking if necessary. October is one of the busiest months in Rome.
We've stayed multiple times at Hotel Fontanella Borghese which is located about halfway between the Spanish Steps and Piazza Navona.

AFAIK, the current Rome hotel tax ranges from 3 to 7 euros per night per person depending on the number of stars given the hotel. Just something to keep in mind.
