Borgo Grondaie Hotel -Siena??: Anyone recommend this hotel???

Jump to last reply

We are considering Borgio Grondaie Hotel as a base for 5 nights in Tuscany with a car.
There is an apartment with 2 bedrooms and it has a pool. Is it comfortable place? Can anyone recommend this or another place? It is just outside the city center, it seems. This could be good or not good.
We are looking for a place to see Siena, have wonderful food and access to streets and town to walk. But we also would like (husband with bad back, daughter, 22 , and I) -- to have an opportunity to see hill towns, explore! and also be together and relax, eat well, drink good wine....
We will be in Venice and Florence before this. We will fly out of Rome.
Please give any recommendations! By the way, highly recommended Hotel Palazzo Ravizza is sold out. This is 3rd to 4th week of May. Thank you again. You are all such wonderful help!!!
