Borghese reservation with Roma Pass
I want to make a reservation for the Borghese Gallery in Rome but want to use the Roma Pass....tried to do it online but they want credit card...it says something about calling a phone number in order to do it with Roma Pass...should I wait to get over there and then make the call--will there be reservations left if I call a week before we want to go??? Or can I wait for the day I want to go and just hope there is a time slot for me....Not even sure how to make a phone call to Europe from US....what should I do??

We just e-mailed the gallery and told them when we would like to visit and said that we would be using the Roma Pass. They e-mailed us promptly and confirmed. We picked up the tickets at the gallery and showed them the Roma Pass. Definitely get advanced reservations.

Artsbabe----Do you happen to know where you emailed?? I just emailed to [email protected] but it came back as undeliverable. I got this email address from on the Borghese website.

We called from the States and just reserved over the phone (no credit card needed). We picked up the reserved tickets ..they did not charge us anything extra for the reservation. Do reserve...you may not get in otherwise.
|
And, since we showed them the Roma pass, it was a free entry. Sorry, forgot to mention that in the previous post.

reddy2go2-- that is exactly what I need to do...how do I go about calling from the states...do I need to just dial +390632810 from here in the US...have never called another country before and not sure how to go about doing it. Can you help??

Bornintheusa, I think you dial 011 then the number above.
Does anyone know how far in advance you need to make reservations? Reddy2go2, so you just made a reservation but did not have to pay until you showed up to get the tickets? What if you have to change the reservation for some reason once you get to Rome - can that be done? |
Sorry -- I don't recall the exact e-mail. Seems that in a fit of cleaning up my e-mail, I deleted that info. Guess I would just call. Yes, you need to dial 011 first.

Hi born, just FYI: 011 is to call internationally. 39 is the code for Italy. 06 is for Rome and the rest of the numbers is the actual phone number of course.

Thanks all!! Will call on Monday and hopefully get reservations
