Borghese Gallery Online Reservations

Has anyone succeeded during the past 48 hours or so in making online reservations for Borghese Gallery in Rome? The "RESERVE" and "RESET" buttons are both operative until the reservation form is completed and then they become inoperative. Could this mean that the dates/times I am requesting are simply not available? Thanx for any help that can be provided.

Worked for me. Send my reservation request in on 5/17 and got a confirmation on 5/18 (about 24 hrs later).

What is e-mail address/website to make reservations?

I have not been to Italy yet (going at the end of September)--is this a place worth making a special visit for a first-timer with 3-4 days in Rome?

I was never able to get the online reservation system to work for me - it kept freezing my computer. Anyway, I gave up and just called.

I finally sent an e-mail to the webmaster at Borghese and he responded w/in 12 hrs w. apologies and agreed to help me w. reservations. The web site is www.galleriaborghese.it. See 5/17/01, 9:15 am post on this forum for more details provided by Lorna, or, probably quicker, do search using "Borghese" as key word.
Good luck!

Wether you can get the online reservations to work or not PLEASE find a way to get in. Understand that I am not a big sculpture fan but this museum was INCREDIBLE. Absolutely incredible. It was well worth the time spent. In my humble opinion it was a highlight in a city full of highlights.

In a word - GO!

Cheers, the turnip

I tried to book several times via the website. I finally used az's advice and emailed the webmaster at the Galleria Borghese and he/she suggested emailing ticketeria at [email protected] which the www.galleriaborghese.it also refers you to if you do not receive confirmation within 3 days. I received confirmation of our reservation in less than an hour! Thanks az! Now I just have to get the Scavi folks to reply.....
