Bordeaux restaurant

Going to be in Bordeaux (city) Thursday. Any restaurant recommendations?

Hi, mjs.

Depends what kind of meal you want, but La Tupina is generally considered to be the best restaurant in town (might be hard to get a reservation this late, though). I'd also try Les Racines, Miles, and Le Bouchon Bordelais.

Are you a foodie that wants an expensive restaurant or the best? Also, it depends where you want to be.

I like the brasserie l'Orleans which is near quinconces tram stop

it is not the best in the city, I'm sure, but that's the kind of place I usually eat.

I like good food and prefer something regional. We have been eating quite cheaply in the Dordogne so would not mind a splurge. Am not too interested in paying 130 Euro for a plate

You might try one of the following:
•Julien Cruège (www.juliencruege.fr), 245 rue Turenne
•Une Cuisine en Ville, 77 rue du Palais-Gallien
•Garopapilles, 62 rue Abbé de l'Epee (garopapilles.com) - we have reservations there at the end of the month.
•Le M (www.restaurantlem.com), 53 Rue Lafaurie Monbadon
