Bordeaux Hotels?

Looking for a high end hotel in Bordeaux proper. I generally prefer smaller boutique hotels, but am open. Priorities for me are good, walkable location (we like to walk so it doesn't have to be in the center of things, but nice area of the city is important), decent amount of space in the room, and hopefully some local charm. Good breakfast is a plus! Any suggestions welcome.

The Intercontinental was wonderful! Not a smaller, boutique hotel but…

Yndo Hotel: A small, luxurious boutique hotel located in a quiet yet walkable area.

The Intercontinental, Le Boutique, Yndo are all good options. There are a couple of decent midrange as well, Hotel d’ Seze and L’Particulier.

Take a look at this website: https://sauvistication.com/where-to-stay-in-bordeaux/

It lists some options in wine country as well.
