Portsalon is way up at the north.. glorious place.
Your nearest big car boot sale/flea market will be Letterkenny, every Saturday morning, starting at 8 am.
Donegal Town has a food and Craft market the third Saturday of every month... Ramelton a small food market every Saturday for an hour. Falcarragh over on the west coast a big street market every Friday. There will be car boot sales in various places locally advertised all summer...Hope that helps; the Letterkenny one is huge.

Thank you for the suggestions, unfortunately, both Saturdays will be travel days. But, we love to explore, so we'll find something!

Bill, do you live in Ireland? We are staying in a house by Portsalon Golf Club. My husband has never played a links course. He is excited. There is a Doe Castle north of us, we have to see, yes, that is really our last name! Any other suggestions you might have for us would be appreciated.

hi cindy, i live in letterkenny, there is a car boot sale on a saturday in letterkenny and in greysteel in derry on sundays...there are also a few charity shops around the town where you might find some unusual items.. burt castle is also not too far from letterkenny but it is a ruin and there is the castle in donegal town that goes back to the flight of the earls...portnoo is a nice place to play golf, inishowen peninsula is pretty to drive around...the scenery is really nice and the beaches are lovely in donegal... + some good pubs and clubs in letterkenny...
