Books set in Italy...getting in the mood

As the other thread is now so long, I'm starting a new one for this question.

I see that Annie Hawes, author of "Extra Virgin," set in Liguria, has written a second book. Apparently, it has been available in the UK and Europe since 2003, but I have not seen it in the US. Has anyone here read this new book, "Ripe for the Picking?"

Along the same lines, I see that Isabella Dusi's second book, "Bel Vino," is to be published in May. (She is the author of "Vanilla Beans & Brodo," set in Montalcino) But, the information again seems limited to the UK & European sources, not US. What gives?

Her publisher is in London and her sales have been much higher in the other English speaking countries--more in Canada than the US for instance.

Thanks for the info. Whether you are referring to Hawes or Dusi, what a shame! And, people can't buy what they don't see.....How frustrating that marketing people are seeing to it that we can't have easy access to things if they don't sell in huge numbers.
