Booking Iberia Flights - HELP!
I've found cheaper flights on Iberia website versus expedia or travelocity. Can I book on their website - would tickets be sent here to the states? I don't know any spanish??? Trying to fly from Bilbao to Barcelona on Sunday 5/23 mid morning.
Please - any advice?? |
You cab book e-tickets. Just print them down and you'll be done.
However, there is a choice for English on the Iberia web site. Below the box on the upper left where you read "España", there is another box where you shall select "ingles". |
Selina,
Do a search for Barcelona AND Airline and find my post in November which tells my (positive) experience with getting my tickets through Iberia. Click on the British flag and it will come up in English. Be careful NOT to say that you will "pick them up" - that is only if you can get them within 24 hours. Instead take the other option - and you will retrieve them at the ticket counter. No hassle. I had confirmed them with my passport number so I just had to give them the number and I was home free. Good luck! |
Selina - Yes, you can book on their website:
In the top left hand corner of the website, there are 2 boxes for you to pick things. The first one says "Iberia en/in". Pick Spain (Espana) for your flight. This is the default, so you should have to change anything. The second drop down box says "Idiom/Language" - pick Ingles, and the rest of the website will now be in English. Look up for flights, prices, etc and purchase. They use e-tickets just like everyone else. They don't mail you tickets. You get two emails from them: a confirmation and a reservation. Take these with you to the airport and show the ticket agent, and you will get a boarding pass, just like for any other flight. Hope this helps (by the way, the confirmation email is in Spanish, but don't worry about it. You can find the part with the flight number, time, etc without any problem, and that part is easy to read). Karen |
Thanks to everyone..I figured it out! Saved myself some money too!
