I have seen people get incredible deals for London hotels on Priceline. In Europe my only success has been in Berlin and I am yet to stay there.
My other stays have all been in the US and Canada and I have always had my bedding arrangement requests granted.
You can't put in any request before bidding so your only option is to contact the hotel after you have won. They will only guarantee a room to accommodate 2 people as shown on one of the Priceline bidding pages.
I normally call the hotel and ask to be put through to the front desk. I then ask them for my request and they always say they've made a note of the request on my reservation. Every time the request has been honoured.

We had great luck with them at the Marriott in SF--$75 and got a suite and yes, they had no idea it was from priceline. Have heard others have gotten great results in Amsterdam, and plan to use them for our trip next May.
I'm wondering...has anyone had good luck in Madrid?
