Booking apt. from web site?
If you have used a web site to book an apartment in London, I would really appreciate hearing about your experience. My family of 4 and another are looking for a 1 bedroom apt.(for each family) for June of 2002 and would like to know how reliable the sites are and any recommendations you might have. Thank you!

We have twice booked apartments in London using the web and have also booked holiday homes in four different locations in the United Kingdom. We had no trouble with any of them.

Some sites I used are http://www.holiday-rentals.co.uk/ind.../property/2846 http://www.go.to/londonapts and http://www.londonriverside.co.uk/

Please email me if you have anything specific that I can help with.
We have booked apartments and houses from the web for London, Paris, France and Greece. We've never been disappointed; the accommodations are either as described, or better.

In London, we used
http://www.ukhotelfinder.com/roland.htm

We travelled to London in April of this year and used londonconnection.com to book our apartment. We were very pleased with the apartment, the price and the service

I have booked many times over the interent. Last fall, we rented a villa in Tuscany for a month and were delighted. In August, we have rented a flat in London. There were two agencies that had lovely selections at reasonable prices; www.aplacelikehomelondon.co.uk and rosamond-rose-properties.com. Both are based in London, so prices quoted are in pounds sterling. Also cuts out the American middle-man.

Booked an apt from the website of priceapts.co.uk for last month. No problems and was very happy.
