Booked our flights using 1800flyeurope

I said I would report back after booking our flights from Kansas City to Marseille. I did use the 1800flyeurope site that Ira had mentioned. I got a great rate and think I saved at least $500 to $600 dollars a ticket.

I thank you for the great tip, Ira! If your travels take you to Provence the latter half of next June, I will buy you a drink!!

Hi K,

Good for you!

We won't get to Provence until late Sept.

Just pay for the drinks and tell the bartender that we will stop by for them later.

Hi Kansas;Ira; Another happy camper. I havn't been looking at Fly Europe lately. Our trip to Croatia in early June has been $1184 [Swiss Air] on Kayak's web site for three or four weeks. Still is $1184 on Kayak's site today. Before that it was in the 13 hundreds. All other Airlines were much more. Your posting 'refreshed my memory' on FlyEurope and I just booked four tickets to Croatia at $992. Voila Iris

Hi Kansas,

Being just over on the MO side and about 35 miles from the airport, am curious about your routing?

Where do they have you connecting in US and France?

Thanks.

Cathinjoetown,

We leave KC and fly to Atlanta. Then to Paris, and on to Marseille. The flight connections were very good. No long layovers. The whole itinerary worked well. The web site does not let you know what airlines you are booking until after you purchase the tickets. But it did not take a genius to realize it was going to be Delta since the connection was in Atlanta.

I have a question about using 1800flyeurope. Do they allow you to select all of your seats when purchasing the tickets? thanks, Deborah

DeborahAnn,

If they are not able to give you the seats, you just call the airlines with your ticket confirmation # and get your seats from them.

I have to call AF sometimes for my seat selection when I have booked with DL with their codeshare.

A suggestion,

If you make your reservations over the phone, no extra charge, you will be told who your carrier(s) is(are).

They can also find flights that might not be on the website.

Hi DeborahAnn; The person at Fly Europe did our seat selection for us on Swiss Air. They can also do a dinner selection for you. ENJOY Iris

Ira, have you ever used their hotel or car rental reservations?
