BONKA coffee beans
A friend brought me a bag of Bonka coffee beans last April. They got lost in my crowded cabinets and I forgot about them. I haven't opened the bag yet and am now wondering if they are still fresh and useable. I would like to use them during the holidays. Thank you for any help.

Is there an expiration date on the package? I think it is a Nestle product, so maybe if you contact them they can help you with determining the shelf life of the coffee beans.

Surely the answer is... open the packet and try them?
|
...and if they move by themmselves don't use them.

Patrick: the very reason I topped this thread was to see how long it would take somebody else to suggest what I was thinking.

BONKA Beans can be very toxic if used after the maxiumum metabolic exchange conversion date. I'd contact a reputable BONKA Bean company and get a profesional evaluation done. I'd hate to see you go Bonka's after ingesting bad beans.

Perhaps they would make a nice present for another friend!

Another friend you don't want to be a friend anymore, do you ? :)
