Bonaparte Hotel?
Hi! We are celebrating our 20 Anniversary and we're going to Paris for the first time. Yess! I am having trouble deciding what hotel book. I've read great comments of the Bonaparte Hotel but I have not found any single photo of its rooms. I would appreciate if someone knows a site where I can see one, or describe me the rooms. Is the Bonaparte a good option?? Thanks!

There's been some descriptions of various rooms. You can see the comments by doing a "Search" in the box above. There's no website for this hotel. Ira always stays at the Bonaparte and can assist you best.

mminila,
we were at the Bonaparte for 4 days last July..We had a triple room.. The room was large, with a tiny balcony facing the street, there is a mini bar, a large fireplace with a nice mantel with a tall mirror over it.. The bathroom was modern, not very big, but roomy enough.. The room number was 7... The staff is friendly but cool, the breakfast was continental style.. It is worth the price, the location is great.. |
Hi mm,
If you do a text search for "hotel Bonaparte" you will find several descriptions. Madam does not believe in websites. She says she has enough repeat customers. We hav always stayed in the standard room, Queen size bed, armoir, fireplace with mantel, table and two chairs next to double-glazed French windows (for breakfast), lockable minifridge, tiled bath with tub, hair dryer, AC. We will be going back this Spring. I think that you will find it a quite pleasant place in a very good location. |
Even though the Restaurant des Beaux- Arts is gone. Sigh. We ate our first meal in Paris there: a dozen escargots each, steak frites, and tarte aux pommes.

Thanks Guys for the info!
What do you think is a better option: Bonaparte or Quai Voltaire that is facing the river in front of Louvre? They seem to have the same rates. Have you heared anything about Quai Voltaire Hotel? |
It might depend on when you are going. I am staying at the Bonaparte for the first time in July but looking at the pictures of Quai Voltaire Hotel, I might try that one next. My main concern in July was that I have a room with air conditioning and Bonaparte offers that. From what I can tell, the Voltaire does not. If you stay at Voltaire please let us know. I'd like to hear how it was!
