Hope you have a great trip..I'm sure knowing you (well, it seems like I do through these boards), you have put lots of work and energy into it being a special time. I hope it is.

Rex, if you have a chance to stop into an Internet cafe while there, please let us know how things are going. I'm scheduled to leave for Italy on November 3 and fully intend to go if at all possible. Hope you have a fabulous, safe trip.

You can just about count on a report or two (or more?) - - "live" from our trip. I took a lot of heat last May for checking on in this board while traveling - - but I am so very pleased by all this well-wishing that I wouldn't hink it right NOT to check in. <BR> <BR>Many thanks again... <BR> <BR>R <BR>

I'll be posting more when I am not so tired. I have my laptop(which I hope to use as my "journal") - - and with floppy in hand, hope to be able to do some "live" reporting from here in Italy. All SEVEN of us have ended up proceeding with the trip. Arrived in Florence (train from Milan where we flew in to Linate) more or less on time; three of seven did not receive their checked bags. Promised delivery tomorrow. All are well; weather is great here in Florence.
