Bologna Welcome Card

Has anyone ever used this card and found it worth the price? Also did it include transport both to AND from airport, not clear on website. What is validation process for card from first museum entrance.
Thanks ,Jean

I have not used this card. It looks like, in addition to free entry to the listed museums, you also get a choice of either a 2 hour walking tour, or a 24 hour bus pass for city buses, or 2 tickets for the airport shuttle bus (which could be used to and from the airport). On one of the pages, it says the walking tour is free for card holders; not sure if it's included, or only free if that's your choice of the 3. Looks like you get an expiration date when you pick up the card, and it's validated on your first use in a museum. As with most city cards, whether it's worth it is really dependent on whether you plan to go to a number of the museums listed. It might be a good bargain if you go to several of those and take one of the bus passes.
