<b> WOW </b> <i> It works!</i>

TopMan Nov 15th, 2004 07:23 AM

<b>Yes, it sure does!<b></b></b>

TopMan Nov 15th, 2004 07:24 AM

Thanks for the easy &quot;visible learner friendly&quot; version, Robespierre

TopMan Nov 15th, 2004 07:26 AM

Actually, I left out the forward slash <b>and it still works<b></b></b>

Robespierre Nov 15th, 2004 07:29 AM

You're welcome.

See if leaving out the forward slash works if it's not at the end of your post. I bet it doesn't.

<i>Thinking about these mechanical rules and techniques gives me a pain in the back of my neck. I wish I could just write in pencil on lined paper.</i>

111op Nov 15th, 2004 07:44 AM

<i> Don't </i> forget your clue in the game thread, cmt....

111op Nov 15th, 2004 08:00 AM

No, this <b> doesn't work. <b> I hate html.

But this works. (no slash here)

<b> I hate html. <b>
</b></b></b></b>

111op Nov 15th, 2004 08:01 AM

Oops. <i> Nevermind. </i>

Mind your slashes, I tell you. :-)

Marcy...

You have <i>way</i> too much time on your hands!

Oh, and thanks for the nice remarks, AnselmAdorne!

Best wishes,

Rex

111op: I have a new clue, but I've been unable to post on that thread. I'll try again.

<font color="green"> Wow. Didn't know it's that easy! </font>

Which other colors can one get this way?

bardo1 Jul 13th, 2005 08:53 AM

Thanks for the tips.

Now if I only knew when to use <b>bold</b>, when to <u>underline</u>, and when to use <i>italic</i>.

Can they be used interchangeably? What are the rules? When is <font color="red">color</font> most appropriate?

111op Jul 13th, 2005 09:00 AM

<font color="orange"> You can make your own rules,</font> <font color="purple"> bardo. </font>

gomiki Jul 13th, 2005 09:39 AM

This is great stuff. I have wanted to ask this for a while: can someone tell me how to put a paragraph or comment from someone on a thread into my response? There are always brackets around the phrase which I guess is a clue. Help, please.

<b> I tried it and it works </b>
