Bluewater Shopping Centre - Kent

Does anyone know how one can get from London downtown to Bluewater Centre in Kent via Transit??

Thanks in advance

Oh yeah hes the address info

"Bluewater is located at Greenhithe, just two miles from the M25 Junction 2, and between Dartford and Gravesend on the A2 London to Canterbury Road, near Bean Interchange."

Here's a link that might come in handy;

However, there's nothing in Bluewater that you won't find in central London, unless you count old quarry chic ; )

I've stayed a few times at B&Bs near Bewl Water - and every time I mention that my London friends assume I mean Bluewater. A WHOLE different kettle of fish.

Anyway, J_B_A - is there some particular reason you need to go to Bluewater? You can get there by train and shuttle bus - but why?

I can think of thousands of things you can find in Bluewater that you can't find in central London: people. Specific people.

Maybe the OP is wanting to meet someone there.

Ah Bluewater... our little slice of the US when we lived in Chelmsford (town in Essex, northeast of London which is a 45 minute train ride away)... Bluewater is a huge mall but we still couldn't find clothes that fit our American bodies!

Thanks for the link Jay_G

Actually I'm meeting family there for dinner and thought I'd go shopping earlier.

I checked London transport and came up with a bus trip for over 1 hour and 2 interchanges. Just thought there might be an easier way?

There is - as shown on the link Jay_G provided?? That site gives you the rail/shuttle bus info

Without knowing where you are coming from it's hard to say (there's no such place as London downtown).

Anyway, your other option is a train to Greenhithe station and then get the shuttle bus to Bluewater (2 minutes drive).

I interpret 'downtown' as meaning central London. I interpret central London being Trafalgar Square / Charing Cross. This is where all distances from/to London are measured from. By the way Charing Cross is where you want to get the train to Greenhithe.
