Blue Vans shuttle in Paris?
 

Ever heard of them? They offer service at 14.5E each way when purchased rt online. Their website is www.bluvan.fr . I have not seen anything on this site about them, but they look legit and the price is below others like parishuttle. It was shuttle or taxi, but for the difference between two people for 29E versus up to 50E to Latin Quarter for a taxi, I think I will chance waiting for the shuttle!

These shuttles are less costly than a taxi, but the tradeoff is you never know how long the trip will take. You may be the first dropped off or you may be the last, following drops at several other hotels. Also, you may spend time sitting at the airport waiting for a sufficient number of people for the van to leave.
If cost is your main concern, another option is to take the RER into town (most likely to St Michel/Notre Dame or Luxembourg for a LQ hotel) and if your hotel is not close enough to walk, hop in a cab from there. At ~8.5/ea for RER, even adding the cab fare would still total less than the shuttle, without the risk of an extended transit time.

It is a decision many have trouble making. I used a shuttle service the last time to Paris and we only had one other party in the shuttle. The shuttle lists no more than three total stops. I thought about the RER, but I have heard a lot about steps that are hard to take with large luggage. I think I will give the shuttle one more try and if I run into trouble this time, I will post about it!

There are been various posts on here about them, all you have to do is a search to find them. Just stick bluvan in the search box and hit "search" I'd also try bluevan as some people (like you) spell it either way

We used BlueVan. they were excellent and very accomodating.

There was a transit strike one time and they got us to CDG on time even with all the increased car traffic. :-B

I also used Blue Van for my visit this past week. Arriving, there was a couple with their daughter that got dropped off first, and leaving, he picked up two others after me. It didn't bother me because I enjoyed seeing the other neighborhoods. The service was prompt, efficient, and the driver was very pleasant.
