Blue Van Shuttle

Has anyone used the Blue Van shuttle service in Paris? Are they reliable? We are 4 with luggage. How many people do they take and how many stops do they make before they bring you to your hotel? Any info will be appreciated.

4 people w/ luggage? I recommend you take a taxi. Much easier and not much difference in cost.

I could be wrong, but I have read and heard that Paris taxis will not take more than 3 people at a time. Does anyone know if this is true.

They have a web site with info, here it is:
http://www.airportshuttle.fr/

There are 2-3 companies, that's one of them, www.parishuttle.com is another, and http://www.paris-airport-shuttle.com and www.shuttleparisien.com

I've never taken one in Paris, but have in other cities, and they usually take about 6-8 people, but the stops aren't set, because they are hotels people are going to. The driver decides based on route, you could be first or last.

Regular size cars won't take 4 adults (and I don't think they are required to take 4 if they don't want), and I don't think they'd have room anyway for the luggage, but there are taxis that are larger SUV/van types that will.

We always use the Blue Van and found them to be very efficient! At the most you will only have 2 other stops before your destination. We came out of Paris last Wednesday and were the last pickup to CDG - 40 minutes later we were checking in - can't beat that!

Thanks to all for the info. I think we'll give them a try. At 14.50 euro pp it beats the 90 euro we paid for a taxi for two last time in Paris. I'm sure they won't take 4 with luggage anyway.

I think you got taken at 90 euro. The fare to/from central Paris never runs more than 50 euro even w/ heavy traffic and some luggage.
