Blu-Express Air, Rome to Nice

Has anyone flown Blu-Express? We are needing to get to Nice from Rome, and was considering the overnight train until I found this airline. The rates are very inexpensive, but I think they might be a new airline?

I would say that they are a new airline. The _are_ listed on whichbudget.com at least, as of today. Not ure when they first appeared there.

Of the fifty (?) low-cost intra-europe airlines, perhaps there have been at last a dozen - - each year - - since 2000 in their rookie year. They all had to start somewhere.

And of course, not all of those that I have seen starting up in the past 5 years or so... are still around.

Of course, I still remember the implosion of no small number of airlines operating (primarily) in the US: Eastern, TWA, PanAm, PeopleExpress, Piedmont, PSA, Republic, Ozark, Braniff. Guess that shows my age, huh?

More familiar names (of US-based airlines) will be aded to this list sooner than any of us realizes.

Best wishes,

Rex

Hi Kib,

Haven't flown them, but Blu-Express is the new offshoot of Blue Panorama, an Italian charter airline that has been flying (mostly longhaul) since 1998. So this not a small startup operation.

Hope this helps,
Andre

So you would not have concerns booking a one-way flight with them?

No, none at all.

Hope this helps,
Andre
