Thinking of trying out a Black forest spa/bath on a December trip. Any inputs? Thanks

Are you looking for a hotel setup or just a day thing?

I can recommend Baden-Baden as a very relaxing spa town.

Steve,
Thanks for the recommendation in Baden-Baden. I'm looking for a day thing. Any responses appreciated. Laura
Laura,

I understand that most of the spas are nude spas. Hope you won't have a problem with that.

Laura,
spas aren't "nude spas" . However, the saunas are, even if mixed.
I can recommend the Casseiopeia therme (spa) in Badenweiler, south of Freiburg. It was built on old Roman ruins, several pools (indoor, outdoors) of various temperatures, sauna, Roman-Greek bath, steam bath. Also, just for your information, spas in Germany are different from spas in the US (Germans are paid a 3-4 week spa trip from their health insurance every 3 years), so it's not a very exclusive experience (plus a lot of old people). Baden-baden is probably different because of the casino.
