Blablacar in italy?

Has anyone used BLABLACAR (https://www.blablacar.co.uk/) in Italy? I need to travel from Naples to Bari in September and it was the quickest and cheapest option shown in Rome2rio.

Are you aware it's a ridesharing app? I think it can be an economic option if you are flexible, but if you need to get to Bari on a particular day, there might not be anyone driving that route that day.

If you know your exact travel date, you could probably buy a train ticket for 35 euros or less. FWIW, for that many hours, I'd rather be on a train where I could get up and walk around, stretch my legs, etc.

It is also a bus a bus consolidator (which is probably what it would be on that route). So would be regularly scheduled buses and you have a firm schedule. I'd check the Marino Bus and Itabus sites to see what their schedules/fares are when booked directly . . .
