Birthday cocktails in Edinburgh
 

I am looking for somewhere special to take a friend for pre-dinner cocktails to celebrate her 50th birthday next Friday night . We are staying in Dundas Street so somewhere nearby would be great . Any ideas please ?

I would think the cocktail culture has largely escaped Scotland, unless you count Irn Bru and meths - but I'm sure WIDKT, Sheila or Caroline will set us both straight before too long........

Excellent , I know both Olorosso and the Balmoral Hotel . I have been to Olorosso but did not realise they had a bar area would serve cocktails . Thank you so much .
