Biometrics used at Iceland's Airport

Finally an airport is using biometrics for passenger screening. Iceland announced Keflavik Airport will use the facial screening equipment for ALL passengers.
Icelandaire will be a popular airline.
It's a good start!

Are you saying Icelandair is giving free facials and biofeedback treatments to passengers?

They are using feature detection devices that enable the scanners to recognize people despite attempts to alter themselves.
You don't think governments around the world can't identify thousands of terrorists? Hundreds of people have been arrested and thousands more are under watch.
Retina recognition, fingerprinting, facial recognition are all a part of biometric usage that will become standard for identification.

It's available for travel from other EU member countries to make sure that criminals and false asylum seekers don't enter Iceland from EU countries (open borders etc.)
