Biking Tuscany -- this May

Finally, another trip planned! I decided to do VBT's tour of Tuscany. This is a first for me, both a bike tour and a guided tour. I'm usually an independent traveler, but up for a switch this time. I did a search here and saw that Nicegirl was going to do this same trip last fall, but I couldn't find a trip report or any more reviews on it. I'm hoping she or someone else who's done it (or others with VBT) will share their experiences and advice.

Any and all thoughts are welcome! Thanks!

ttt...

It's that time of year again - - traffic on the forum is so heavy that an unaswered question can fall off the "first page" (50 most recently posted threads) in as little as 59 minutes!

Best wishes,

Rex

Amy, I hope you have a great time. Please post a long report with photos when you get back.

If any and all comments are welcome.... I had breakfast in NY with a couple that had been on the tour, they adored it. She had had a sight injury (not related to the trip) and there was comfy riding in the van if you did not want to bike. They had taken multiple trips with the company and keeps going back for more as they are so well done.

Very good to hear. I've heard similar, which was why I booked with them. Thank you!

My hubby & I are also biking in Tuscany for our first time this September. We have booked with Great Explorations, a Canadian company. Having never done this before either, I would also love to hear other experiences & advice.
