I'm impressed menachem :).

I can't ride to the end of my street without falling off.

Those bike routes menachem shows are probably more interesting than the straight shot canal route I was talking about - kind of just a straight line with few towns - the zigzagging routes she highlights seem great - be sure to detour into Delft though for a look and the Delftware Factory is neat too.

He, sorry.

And yes you're right: the interesting options would be: The Hague to Delft, then from Delft do Delftse Hout to get out of Delft, then Delfgauw, Ackerdijkse Plassen and Oude Leede, which lands you behind Rtm Airport in Hilligersberg. Then an interesting route into the city might be to follow Molenlaan to the River Rotte and take the bike path along it into town, ending up at its historical terminus Noordplein, right in Rotterdam.

Many thanks for the links, route planner and suggestions!

PalenQ: Do you know of any exiting bike tours (day trips) that I can join?

PalenQ Apr 21st, 2015 05:39 AM

No I do not.

The biking was great! Thanks for all the helpful suggestions and ideas. I did some day trips out of The Hague along the coast and from north side of Amsterdam. I did about 40 kilometer trips with some nice stops to eat and rest along the way. Cheers.
