Biking Around The Arc de Triomphe Video
 

So, here's some footage of me riding my bike one handed around the Arc de Triomphe. Camera in one hand, other hand on the handlebars. Risking my life for your entertainment. Hope you enjoy. There are some great small HD video cameras you can strap to your head or anything else. See http://www.goprocamera.com/ I saw the product at a ski shop recently in Colorado. It is amazing.

At least you could keep two hands on the handle bars. ;-)

Nikki - I think there are a lot of government officials and corporate entities all over this planet that would prevent the introduction of the common sense pill.

There are quite a few cyclists in London that wear them, in case they ever need evidence of being cut up by cars and lorries. And there's at least one police service that uses them to record interactions with the public (and to provide post facto reminders to people about how they behaved when drunk or in a rage: apparently very useful when shown to the parents of misbehaving teenagers).

Patrick - I have been thinking about this option but haven't done any pricing on these devices yet. I like biking and making videos and it definitely increases the ease of making this type of video, not to mention the enhanced safety of having 2 hands on the handlebars.

Hope you had a nice steadying glass of wine after that one. The head camera seems like an excellent idea. You could really (literally) be our "man on the street" with that!

Ok, but if I want that kind of excitement, I just get on the freeways here in LA. In any case, how are you gonna meet some mayor while you're riding your bike around the Arc. Nope. I preferred your quieter themes at the villages outside Paris. And I bet your wife didn't accompany you on this adventure either (smart woman that she is).

I couldn't help to notice the liquid on the lens. Is it rain, sweat, or maybe tears? Well, due the situation, the last two are understandable.
