Yes, I loved this show! Thanks to "Big Blue Marble" and the "C.B.S. Children's Film Festival", I longed for the day when I could travel to faraway places. Do any of the other U.S. people remember these?

I didn't post this for the rather saccharine theme song, but to see if anyone else remembered the show.

It had segments filmed in countries around the world, following children in their activities in their home countries. I remember one segment on a miniature village in Denmark. Another on a kibbutz in Israel. They also gave pen-pal opportunities.

And I became obsessed with Switzerland when I saw Heidi on the CBS Children's Film Festival. I also remember a film about a boy in a balloon over the French countryside. He gives wrong directions to some hunters after a stag. Kid after my own heart.
