I just wanted to be fair to Air France and let everyone know the final result of my problems. I have just received 2 $200 couprons from them for use at any time and an apology for the difficulties. I am also receiving a check for $260 for the delay in getting us our luggage.<BR><BR>I beleive that they have handled our complaint honestly and quickly and commend them for that.

Good for you, David. My situation with air france was almost the same as yours, except they stopped us at the gate and the plane was still there, it was exactly one minute before departure. We were so late because their own shuttle busses were late picking us up at one plane for this connecting flight. It was totally their fault and not ours in the least. We wrote and never got compensated. I will never fly with them again because of the way we were treated, like dirt.
