best/favorite restaurant in florence

Can anyone please suggest a great restaurant in Florence for 2 couples (on a special night out while a babysitter watches their little children) to have a wonderful dinner in Florence?
Thank you for your suggestions.

Thank you for your suggestions everyone.

We will be in Florence a week from today. We are looking to eat italian food from the region (in other words, we are not looking for Thai food, sushi, etc..) and we are looking for a special night out so moderate to expensive is our budget in this case.
Thanks again for your help!

I second Leo. Fabulous, authentic cuisine and great service. We had a terrible experience at Omero after so much hype about how great it would be.

My Italy trip report has a lot of detailed info on restaurants. I'll top it for you. It's called "My first and probably last taste of donkey." And yes, we ate donkey in Florence and I don't recommend it!
