Best website for cheap Europe flights

What websites are best for finding cheap air tickets in Europe? We want to fly from Italy, Milan or Pisa to LHR. Is there an airline I should be looking at besides BA?

There are many budget airlines in Europe. Try www.whichbudget.com or www.skyscanner.net. I'm sure Easy Jet and Ryan Air have flights for those destinations. You do have to watch luggage weight and check-in times which can be strict.

No low-cost airline flies to Heathrow from Italy, and no airline of any description flies between Heathrow and Pisa. The only other airline than BA between Heathrow and Milan is Alitalia. Use skyscanner to find flights from Italy to other London-area airports.

Whichbudget.com, which restricts itself to an arbitrary selection of airlines, is a useless guide to low-cost flying in Europe unless you understand its limitations well.

Hi Mary; Not sure what your budget is but try kayak.com Lufthansa flies non-stop from Milan to Heathrow. ENJOY Iris

Kayak shows other airlines that fly Milan to LHR, but only BA (and Eurofly, never heard of it and Alitalia Express, both of which are astronimically-priced) flies non-stop. All Lufthansa flights make at least one stop.

Hi, Marycang. One way is cheaptickets.com and fly into Shannon or Dublin, then a ryanair.com or similar to get onto continent. Riskier from a missed-connections point of view, and of course luggage is restricted more.

I use airninja.

(.com? .net?) I don't remember. Gives low cost carriers between cities.

I got my cheap flight from www.kayak.com they show the cheapest flights from a lot of different airlines. Great resource.

Hi Mary; I see what sf7307 means on Lufthansa. However it depends on the time of year you are traveling. If it was in March, then one stop. If it was in June, then non-stop at $75 PP [one way]. ENJOY Iris

Check airgorilla.com also. They list different airlines.
